The Retail Sales Representative primarily provides sales and continuity coverage for an assigned retail territory. They are responsible for representing ACOSTA and our Clients through store coverage and executing sales objectives as set forth by their Manager to achieve superior in-store sales results in an assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
1.As established by management, deliver sales results against quotas across all Clients in assigned territories.
2.Meets client expectations regarding sales and call coverage and productivity in assigned territory.
3.Assists supervisors on retail initiatives new product introductions, contests, etc. as assigned.
4.Deliver 100 coverage every reporting cycle of assigned retail territory according to client frequency plans.
5.Executes retail territory coverage plan to ensure sales and coverage goals are met.
6.Retail reporting must be accurate and transmitted on a daily basis.
7.Will answer all NARS questions for all clients assigned and report any issues via store comments section of handheld device.
8.Ensure all client priorities and sales objectives are met. Effectively communicate client information to store personnel. Communicate to UM when not met and provide substantiation.
9.Achieve new item and existing item placement according to client speed to shelf guidelines.
10.Maintains full distribution and display of products in assigned accounts per plan-o-gram.
11.Rotates stock, clean and stock display and price merchandise as appropriate.
12.Performs such duties as checking date codes, ensuring adherence to approved plan-o-gram.
13.Reports observations to Unit manager regarding outdated product, unbalanced stock, out-of-stock situations and point of purchase requirements. to include competitive products.
Qualifications:
Prior retail experience to include Retail Sales preferred, but not required.
1.Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
2.Must have a valid drivers license and must be able to drive a car for extended periods of time.
3.Must be available to overnight travel.
4.Must be available for occasional weekend work Demos and Food Shows. Must be able to work nights and holidays. Night and holiday work will be pre-defined by position.
5.Must be able to effectively communicate with others. Must have good vision and be able to operate a calculator, fax machine, telephone, copier, hand truck, hammer, screwdriver and case cutter.
6.Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.

The Data Collector will be responsible for collecting pricing information at the retail level as well as being assigned stores in their general area to visit weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly meeting collection and transmission deadlines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Professionally represent client in demeanor and image at all times.
Use data collection device to record product unique codes, accurately enter unique prices and appropriate attributes based on individual client collection criteria.
Downloading of listss required based on the type of data collection equipment and audit type.
Transmit data collected with accurate store time; drive time; and mileage daily.
If collecting data from a list that requires more than one day to complete, transmit items audited daily using the correct work date and store time.
Call IVR system or utilize Client Field Portal to verify successful transmissions.
Call Client Service Manager CSM/Pricing Analyst PA immediately with error transmission information.
Ability to complete all work assigned via District Manager or CSM.
Notify District Manager immediately when a deadline will be missed.
Meet performance expectations of at least 95 for on-time completion, transmission and pricing accuracy as defined by the client.
Willing to assist on any check including but limited to: Undirected Category checks and full books, Directed Item Lists, Lapel Checks Undirected and Directed, CPG and PSV checks.
Collection Rate Index must be at or above 80 at all times to stay in good standing.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a valid drivers license.
